The sun is a natural resource capable of generating clean energy. Every kWh produced with photovoltaics avoids the emission of approximately 700g of CO₂ into the atmosphere. Thanks to the system installed, we are now completely self-sufficient in our energy supply.
Our commitment to the environment
Ten years ago we made an ambitious decision: to make our company more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
We developed a heat recovery system that allows us to utilise all available energy, thereby reducing waste.
The entire roasting plant is powered exclusively by renewable sources, thanks to the solar panels installed on the roof: for every kWh produced, we avoid emitting 700g of CO₂ into the atmosphere.
We waste nothing: even coffee silverskin, the thin silvery film that covers the raw coffee bean, is collected and transformed into biogas, becoming a valuable resource for generating clean energy.

The heat of coffee
We have installed a system to recover the heat produced by the roasting ovens: the thermal energy is used to heat water, efficiently supplementing the office heating system.

Green energy
We have chosen to equip the roasting plant with a ‘briquetting machine’ for coffee husks: the waste from the beans is no longer thrown away, but treated, compacted and transformed into biogas, a valuable source of renewable energy.

Organic coffee
Organic coffee is synonymous with high-quality raw materials and respect for the environment. Cultivated using sustainable methods, it protects soil fertility and reduces greenhouse gas emissions, ensuring an ethical and responsible supply chain.
